In May 2018, TM Lighting undertook an exciting and transformative project at the illustrious Dorfold Hall, a stunning Grade I listed Jacobean mansion nestled in the picturesque landscape of Cheshire. This project aimed to seamlessly integrate contemporary and historic art into the classical splendour of the mansion, creating a unique blend of old and new.

The primary focus of TM Lighting’s involvement was to illuminate the diverse collection at Dorfold Hall, which featured a captivating fusion of classical and contemporary artworks. This dynamic juxtaposition was thoughtfully balanced by the home’s harmonious interiors, characterised by the use of historic paintings by Edward Bulmer, original period ceilings, and modern furnishings.

A striking example of this synergy is the contemporary masterpiece by German artist Ralph Fleck, titled “Mull Berg 9/III” (2008), an oil on canvas creation. To showcase this artwork, TM Lighting utilized their cutting-edge Slim Light Pro picture light, an innovative lighting solution known for its high-performance qualities, featuring a 96+CRI LED source, all housed within a minimalist and sleek design.

The collaboration between TM Lighting and Dorfold Hall exemplifies the artful fusion of classical heritage and contemporary vision, resulting in an enriched and visually captivating environment. For further insights and information about Dorfold Hall, please visit www.dorfoldhall.com.
