TM Lighting was commissioned by Graham Festenstein to provide the SlimLight Pro Picture Light for the Great Chamber at The Charterhouse in London.
The Charterhouse is a former Carthusian monastery in London, located between Barbican and Smithfield Market, and to the north of what is now Charterhouse Square. Since the dissolution of the monasteries in the 16th century the site has served as a private mansion, a boys’ school and an almshouse, which it remains to this day.
The minimal profile of the SlimLight Pro Picture Light blended seamlessly into the dark backgrounds allowing the artworks to become centerstage in the space. The artworks all measure over 2 metres in height, yet the SlimLight Pro was still able to provide even illumination over the whole canvas.
TM Lighting also supplied the ZeroSixty spotlight to accent key features in the space.
