TM Lighting provided speciality art lighting for 14 Hills London, a new restaurant located in London’s square mile.
The restaurant’s name was inspired by the fact you can see as far as the hills, perched atop the 14th floor of 120 Fenchurch street. City skyline views include The Shard, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and the Thames. To bring a sense of the hills being alive within the restaurant, interior design studio Robert Angell has created a lush garden style interior. Lighting is an important part of the identity of the space; By using warm, rich tones and materials that allow natural light to flow but glow at night Robert Angell and Into Lighting have created an environment that celebrates the daylight and as the evening comes the interior creates dark, warm and intimate spaces to dine and have fun.
Lighting designers Into Lighting specified TM Lighting’s custom modular SlimLight Pro Picture Lights to illuminate the art collection shown in The Private Dining Room. Into Lighting was briefed to provide a theatrical and layered lighting scheme in order to complement the function of each space while creating intimacy.
