With gallery spaces located in Hong Kong and London, 3812 has a dual cultural influence from Europe and China.
It showcases renowned artists like Hsiao Chin, one of the major postwar painters whose work can be found in M+ and New York’s Metropolitan and who lived in Milan for 40 years, and important ink artists including Raymond Fung from Hong Kong, whose works are in The Asian Art Museum of San Francisco and Hong Kong Palace Museum as well as Nanjing based painter Liu Guofu. Known for its captivating exhibitions, such as ‘Looking East: St Ives Artists and Buddhism,’ 3812 creates a bridge between modern and contemporary Chinese and British artists, promoting cross-cultural dialogue. Co-founded by Calvin Hui and Mark Peaker, the gallery places art in prominent collections, participates in significant art fairs, and represents diverse contemporary artists like Zhao Zhao and Li Hongwei, who have gained international recognition.
TM Lighting utilised its LED Gallery Spotlights, which provide maximum flexibility to light the artworks of varying scale on display using its magnetic lens system. This offers the ability to vary the beam width quickly and easily during focusing and is the ideal choice for galleries, museums or evolving collections.
