Following the success of the lighting solution in the Bow Room at Burghley House, TM Lighting was extended an invitation to review the lighting in the Billiards Room.
The challenge lay in crafting a lighting scheme that would subtly enhance the unlit artworks adorning the paneled walls. To achieve this, TM Lighting devised a minimally intrusive approach by creating custom brackets for mounting the TM Classic Picture Lights onto the panels. These brackets were custom-painted to seamlessly blend with the paneling, ensuring that the art remained the focal point without any disruptive visual elements. For the lower register, the TM Solo Picture Light was employed to complement the oval paintings, preserving the integrity of the artworks while subtly illuminating them. This bespoke lighting solution perfectly balanced functionality with aesthetics, further enhancing the grandeur of the Billiards Room at Burghley House.
