Canopy Collections’ exhibition ‘What shall I take with me?’ is a presentation of new works on paper by Mexican artist duo Celeste (María Fernanda Camarena and Gabriel Rosas Alemán). This exhibition is organised in conjunction with Celeste’s forthcoming museum show at The Royal Society of Sculptors and the first that focusses solely on Celeste’s practice on paper.
We were delighted to bring this exhibition to light with our Gallery130 Spotlights. The Gallery130 (G130) is a high-performance, track-mounted LED spotlight, ideal for high-ceiling spaces such as museums and galleries. With a 98+ CRI high colour rendition to ensure colour accuracy and quick-swap lenses that easily adjust beam width, the G130 is designed for both versatility and precision. Our TM Lighting installation team carefully sculpted the light for each artwork, offering an end-to-end service that includes expert guidance and precise installation.
For the smaller paintings, we used a tight, focused beam to highlight individual details, while a wider beam was applied to the cluster of four larger paintings to cover a broader area. This focused lighting draws viewers’ attention to each piece. Alternatively, by using a flood lens or a combination of spot and flood lighting, the space can achieve a sleek, contemporary wall wash effect. The G130 provides maximum flexibility, allowing for adjustments such as local dimming to fine-tune light intensity according to the desired ambiance.
