‘The Cape Reimagined’ – Burberry at Masterpiece London 2017

June 2017

TM Lighting lit and supported ‘The Cape Reimagined’, an installation by Burberry, at Masterpiece London 2017.

TM Lighting worked in collaboration with Masterpiece London as art lighting specialists across specific aspects to the fair, including lighting a series of major exhibits, showcases and installations using TM Lighting products.
“Henry Moore’s art has always loomed large in my imagination.”
Christopher Bailey

British fashion house, Burberry brought a selection of handmade couture capes to the cross-collecting fair. The collection was inspired by the work and process of Henry Moore – one of the most important British artists of the twentieth century.

Referencing the spirit of the Burberry archive, each cape is designed in their London atelier and crafted using unique constructions. Introduced on the runway, these collector’s pieces are inspired by the scale and form of Henry Moore’s sculptures, and represent the very essence of the British brand.

For Masterpiece London 2017, TM Lighting previewed the new LED G150 lighting product developed specifically for Masterpiece, a gallery spotlight with narrow optics and a magnetic, quick change lens, which is ideally suited for lighting in galleries with tall ceilings and rolling collections.
