The Londoner is one of the capital’s leading ‘super boutique’ hotels and opened its doors on Leicester Square earlier this month. Art is crucial in the hotel’s diverse interiors, from its 350 bedrooms to its six food and beverage outlets, to its event facilities. We were pleased to play our part in illuminating these spaces, where each was lit by a different style of lighting.
ZeroSixty spotlights were used in public and residents-only spaces in the Londoner. Within Whitcomb’s, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant, the spotlights light the monumental ceiling installation by Shida Salehi as well as Tina Lechner’s black and white photography and Frida Wannerberger’s black ink portraits. In The Residence, a space for hotel guests only, we installed 20 antique-bronze plated ZeroSixty spotlights above a Y-shaped marble bar. In every bedroom we installed the TM SlimLight Pro Picture Lights for each original print on display and also added ZeroThirtyOne spotlights focussed onto the pillows to be used as reading lights.
