The Foundling Museum, nestled in the heart of Brunswick Square, London, stands as a testament to the remarkable history of the Foundling Hospital, an institution that marked Britain’s first venture into children’s charity and public art curation. This elegant museum assumes the vital role of preserving and curating two distinct collections: the Foundling Hospital Collection and the Foundling Museum Collection, the latter of which boasts the renowned Gerald Coke Handel Collection. These archives encompass a diverse array of artifacts, ranging from the mundane everyday items once used within the Foundling Hospital, to the rich tapestry of books, documents, musical scores, librettos, photographs, and oral history recordings. Furthermore, the museum proudly houses an impressive collection of significant artworks, as well as exquisite timepieces, fine furniture, and intricately designed interiors, many of which were specially crafted for the Hospital and generously donated by their creators.

Currently, the museum is spotlighting a milestone exhibition titled “Ladies of Quality & Distinction,” which pays homage to the influential women behind the hospital’s founding.

In the illumination of its art collection, the Foundling Museum has entrusted TM Lighting with the installation of high-quality LED Classic Picture Lights, a testament to their commitment to preserving and showcasing their treasures.
